I think the idea the developers had for the cap on the number of members and the increase for every PP level, was that people would get there in the long run. They could implement an Alliance research tech that allows an increase in the number of members for each level, but it costs a good amount of resources and time to research. If the developers gave everything to you from day one, then there wouldn't be anything to look forward too. Though, in Galaxy Empire, the cap was 50 members and no more.

Here are some idea that might be able to solve the cap on members:

-Set it at just 50 max and leave it at that.

-If a beginning player makes an alliance, its capped at 20. However, as the player continues to level up their character, more members slots become available. The character level can also increase the output of resources gained and decrease the amount of resource or time needed to research something.

For the alliance slot limitation, we will delivery new functions for alliance. Alliance will could be upgrade to increase the member slots. Upgrading need resources, it come from the All alliance member contribution, and Alliance leader could set a tax rate for own Alliance that mean every ally have to pay tax(res) to alliance if they win the battle and plunder some resources.

There are really lots of new content waiting for develop, just give us more time to show you, will be as soon as we can.

For the DM cost again, we are happy if everyone could buy some, but we still don't want to kill the game life cycle for money. I hope we can find out some good solution.

Can they also donate the resources to the Alliance as well?

Yes, wolfe. New alliance will get a alliance storage, members donate resources to storage first( there will be a list for displaying weekly donate list and totally donate list), leader could decide which alliance tech or alliance level should be upgraded.
