It says low temperature gives more gas. How much?

I have heard players are working on trying to figure out the formula, however, Sphinx is not allowed to give out their formulas. If I ever find a player-made chart, I will definitely share it here.

From my observations, even just a difference of 5C can result in a greater out put of 500 gas per hour at level 20. Generally speaking, if you are looking for a gas planet, you will get very good production from anything colder than -160C.

Would it be illegal to simply access the game files and examine the code?

"Game Rule 1: Accounts using hacks, bugs, cheats, exploiting code or other methods to change the original game functionality will be banned."

Interpret this how you will, though I'm pretty sure the devs would err on the side of banning.

Just an update to this post: You can find a link to a spreadsheet with gas calculation per temp below.
